Things to Do
Orchard Tours
Hop on the Johnny Popper Train for a fun, family-friendly tour of our working farm! Explore apple, pear, and peach orchards, as well as seasonal vegetable fields such as tomatoes, peppers, and pumpkins. Each season brings something new to discover, giving visitors a chance to have fun while learning how food is grown.
Kids love the tractor-drawn train made of apple bins, and parents enjoy learning alongside them. Our tours are designed for the whole family to enjoy all the seasons!
Crazy Cow Kids Corral
Every kid should have the chance to feel like a farm kid! Our free entrance, one‑acre outdoor play area at Davison Orchards in Vernon, BC is a place where kids can explore treehouses, race rubber ducks, climb straw bales, dig in the sandbox, play on toy tractors, and much more. Parents can relax with a treat from the Farmhouse Café or challenge their kids to a game of tetherball or corn hole before visiting the animals or taking an Orchard Tour.
Animal Barn
Come and visit the friendly farm animals at Davison Orchards in Vernon, BC! Interact with our goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, and donkeys in and around the big log barn. The Animal Barn is free to visit, open during market hours, and is a safe, family-friendly space where kids – and the young at heart – can enjoy hands-on farm fun. Want to experience feeding the animals? Bring quarters to buy animal feed for an extra interactive experience.
Farm To Table
Experience the best of farm-to-table at Davison Orchards. With the majority of our produce grown right here by us, and much of that produce transformed into value added products, you can feel confident as you savour breakfast and lunch at the Farmhouse Café, Real Fruit Ice Cream and specialty coffee at The Old Brick Press, and handmade pies, cinnamon rolls, and other baked goods from our Farmhouse Bakery. Don’t miss our hand-crafted preserves and fresh pressed Apple Juice made from our own apples each harvest. Taste the difference that generations of care and knowledge makes on quality and flavour.
Explore our Farm
Start your visit at our Gift Shop, full of farm-style décor, homemade jams, artisan fudge, and unique country treasures. Stroll through our seasonal flower displays, which change throughout the year, and find plenty of spots for photo opportunities. Enjoy stunning views of Vernon and the surrounding farmland from our outdoor patios. Don’t miss our display of antique tractors behind the market as well as Grandpa Bob’s collection of toy tractors located in front of the market.
