No. There is no outside food on our farm. We have a wide range of options available for both meals and snacks in our Farmhouse Cafe and Bakery as well as both indoor and outdoor seating options.
Of course we make exceptions for those with dietary restrictions who need to bring their own food.

No. Although many of our methods would be considered organic approved, we never claim to be organic. We feel that the organic label has somewhat lost its meaning and has become more about marketing than environmental stewardship.
We are absolutely committed to farming in the most sustainable way possible. We use many “green” methods, including drip irrigation, mulching, and crop rotation. Please see our sustainability statement for more information.
You can be confident that when you eat something grown or made here at Davison Orchards, you are making a choice to eat food that has been farmed in a way that protects our land and community for future generations.

The “Johnny Popper Train” is a fun, interactive way to get out and see for yourself how your food is grown.
The train cars are made of old apple bins with padded, covered seating, and pulled by a restored antique John Deere tractor.
The traditional tour takes you through our orchard; by apple trees, plum trees, and peach trees, as well as by fields of tomatoes, peppers, pumpkins, and more. This tour involves one stop where one of our guides will let you go into the orchard or fields to see, touch, smell (and sometimes even taste!) one of our in-season crops. The focus of the talk changes as the seasons do, but all year long, our farm tours are a chance to have some fun while you learn the story behind your food.
Please see our tours page for more information about all the various kinds of tours we offer.
The tours last approximately 25 minutes – but it depends how many questions you ask!
