Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Now is the time to stock up on frozen pies, freshly squeezed apple juice and caramel. It may be a good idea to take advantage of our homemade frozen meals too, such as Quiche or Shepherd’s Pie to give yourself a break with weeknight suppers as you prepare your thanksgiving feast. If you’re looking for a unique table favour idea, you could try your hand at making these Caramel-Apple Popcorn Balls (see video below). They are a big hit with all kids, and most adults as well! We will be open all weekend, including Monday,
with rides to the pumpkin patch running from 10-4:30. 

As I’ve been contemplating the upcoming holiday, I’ll admit that it has been more challenging than usual find reasons to be thankful. To express my thoughts, I have written a small poem that I’d like to share with you.
